Black Ice

Lots of black ice on the farmers road and large chunks of frozen snow on the sides which looked like icebergs. It’s been below zero for weeks and quite enjoyable. I dread when it all melts and gets wet again.

We’re going to Austria for a week of vacation on Saturday which means more snow and ice. Can’t wait for long hikes in the snow and more opportunities to take photos. Brace yourselves for an avalanche of snow photos.

Shot this around 7 AM with barely any daylight. The camera was wide open with a slow shutter speed. There’s some noticeable grain, mostly from pushing the shadows in post.
